Ziggy says: OS 8.6 will install Enternet and configure your Alcatel Router in Bridge mode. Enternet is OBSOLETE!

OS 9.x will install Enternet and configure your Alcatel Router in Bridge mode. Enternet is OBSOLETE!

OS X will install PPPoE and an USB ".ini" file and configure your Alcatel Router in Bridge mode. USB cannot be used with Ethernet on Macs if the 530 Alcatel "Bridge" has been supplied. It cannot be used AT ALL if you have accidently been allowed to have the Alcatel 510, 4-port.

SpeedTouch 530 will install Enternet and configure your Alcatel 530 Router in Bridge mode. Enternet is OBSOLETE!

Would it not be simple for Bigpond to add the Alcatel user ".ini" files on the ADSL CD and instruct Mac users how to upload and download these to the Alcatel 510?
