| I remove the stamps off used envelopes to sell in batches of 50, 100 and 500. Some buyers tell me that they find the quantities less than these amounts so it takes a lot of time to recount to be absolutely sure. Is there a way to automate the process?
iwishihad advises: try a weighing method using an accurate laboratory scale by comparing the exact quantities against batches of uncounted equal weight quantities. Experiment to see what errors you get and adjust your advertising to say 'approximately XX quantity' ensuring from your experiments the 'XX' is below the minimum quantity you average. |
