"SPEED -- SPEED, WE ALL WANT MORE SPEED!"
-- This is a well-known fact.
Sunday, 9 November 2003:
In Australia ADSL is slowly being rolled out by Telstra but there are country areas where this fast internet medium is too costly to implement.
Enter ISDN. This antique twin-data communication system has been earning telcos Mega$$$ for some time and it has just been 'rediscovered' as a get-out for not supplying ADSL to small towns and places where the 'RIMS' are [not?] being installed.
What's ISDN like? Does anyone understand it? Telstra and Bigpond do?
iwishihad wonders and digitises the following to, perhaps, help those contemplating a "Poor-man's ADSL" and a "Telco's goldmine?"
